Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official county records with strict attention to confidentiality protocols
- Process public records requests efficiently while ensuring compliance with state regulations
- Digitize physical documents and manage electronic filing systems
- Assist county departments with record retrieval and documentation procedures
- Perform data entry with 99% accuracy and maintain audit trails
- Support election preparation and voter registration documentation tasks
- Collaborate with Records Management team on system improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in public administration preferred
- Minimum 1 year records management or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of Kansas public records laws (KORA)
- Valid Kansas driver's license required for occasional off-site duties
