Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize digital/physical document archives according to state retention policies
- Process public records requests with strict adherence to Georgia Open Records Act
- Coordinate document destruction protocols for expired records
- Train department staff on records management best practices
- Generate monthly compliance reports for audit purposes
- Collaborate with IT on document digitization projects
- Support election security documentation initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma; associate's degree in records management preferred
- 2+ years experience in document control or archives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software
