Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official public records with meticulous attention to detail
- Process voter registrations and election documentation per Texas Election Code
- Assist citizens with public record requests via phone, email, and in-person
- Support document scanning and digitization initiatives
- Verify data accuracy across government forms and applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on records management projects
- Ensure compliance with federal and state record-keeping regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- 1+ years records management or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic databases
- Strong organizational skills with ability to handle sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English/Spanish
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Texas public records laws beneficial
