Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop compelling grant proposals aligned with organizational mission and funder priorities
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and narrative content
- Manage grant application processes including budgets, timelines, and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate records of submissions and reporting requirements
- Build relationships with funders through professional communication and stewardship
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
- 3+ years of proven grant writing experience with 80%+ success rate
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with portfolio of funded proposals
- Deep knowledge of nonprofit funding landscape and grant compliance
- Proficiency with grant databases (e.g., Instrumentl, Candid) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
