Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private foundation grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop compelling grant proposals with persuasive narratives, budgets, and work plans
- Collaborate with program teams to gather data and impact metrics for grant applications
- Manage grant reporting requirements and maintain accurate donor databases
- Build relationships with program officers and funders to strengthen funding pipelines
- Maintain compliance with all grant regulations and organizational policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with ability to translate complex programs into compelling narratives
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, GrantStation)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Philadelphia's philanthropic landscape and funding priorities
- Strong project management abilities with attention to detail and deadlines
- Portfolio of successfully funded grant applications required
