Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private grant opportunities aligned with program goals
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and success stories
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate records of funding applications and outcomes
- Build relationships with foundation program officers and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven success securing $500K+ in annual grant funding
- Expertise in federal (HRSA, SAMHSA) and foundation grant applications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Advanced knowledge of nonprofit financial reporting and budgeting
- Proficient with grant databases (e.g., Instrumentl, GrantStation)
