We're seeking a passionate storyteller with a proven track record of securing grants from federal, state, and private foundations. You'll craft compelling narratives, develop strategic funding plans, and build relationships with funders to support transformative programs in education, healthcare, and social services across the Tampa Bay area.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports exceeding $500K annually
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and foundation stakeholders
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and program narratives
- Manage grant pipeline using Salesforce CRM and grant management software
- Ensure compliance with funder requirements and reporting deadlines
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years grant writing experience with 501(c)(3) organizations
- Proven track record securing $1M+ in annual grant funding
- Expertise with federal (SAM.gov), state, and private foundation applications
- Advanced proficiency in budget development and financial reporting
- Exceptional written communication and storytelling abilities
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong project management and deadline adherence skills
