Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-impact recreational programs for diverse community demographics
- Manage multi-million dollar park improvement projects and vendor relationships
- Lead cross-functional teams in event planning and seasonal operations
- Develop data-driven strategies for park utilization and visitor engagement
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Parks & Recreation, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in municipal recreation management
- CPRP certification or equivalent professional designation
- Proven expertise in budget management and grant writing
- Advanced knowledge of ADA compliance and accessible design
- Strong stakeholder management and public speaking abilities
- Experience with recreation management software (e.g., RecTrac)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
