Responsibilities
- Perform general park maintenance, including litter removal, trash collection, and graffiti removal.
- Maintain athletic fields, playgrounds, and landscaped areas to ensure they are safe and welcoming for the community.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and community programs.
- Monitor park facilities to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
- Interact with the public in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing directions.
- Operate basic landscaping and maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or custodial duties is a plus.
