Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with meticulous attention to detail
- Provide direct constituent support via phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding municipal services
- Prepare agendas, packets, and documentation for City Council and commission meetings
- Manage public record requests ensuring compliance with Arizona public records laws
- Process permits, licenses, and applications with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and document distribution
- Assist in election administration and voter registration processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years clerical or administrative experience in government/public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and records management systems
- Deep knowledge of Arizona open meeting laws and public records regulations
- Exceptional written communication skills for drafting official documents
