Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean park facilities, playgrounds, and recreational areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of community events, festivals, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Perform routine landscaping duties, including mowing, raking, trimming, weeding, and planting seasonal flowers and trees.
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards, vandalism, or maintenance issues and report them immediately to supervisors.
- Interact positively with the public, enforcing park rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service.
- Operate and maintain park equipment, tools, and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Help enforce and educate the public on proper waste disposal and recycling practices within park zones.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Valid Driverβs License (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, gardening, or general maintenance practices is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
