Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with Texas pension laws and federal ERISA regulations
- Maintain confidential participant records in secure state databases
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Prepare quarterly benefit statements for active and retired members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in pension administration or benefits management
- Proficiency with Excel and pension management software (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday)
- Strong understanding of qualified retirement plans and IRS regulations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel to state offices quarterly
- Professional designation (CEBS, QPA, or similar) preferred
