Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Remain calm under high-pressure situations while providing clear instructions
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and communication equipment
- Collaborate with first responders and public safety agencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 40 WPM typing proficiency
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
