Responsibilities
- Analyze local legislation and policy impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Research best practices in municipal governance and sustainability
- Prepare concise policy briefs and recommendation memos
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on community initiatives
- Track and evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs
- Engage with stakeholders through public forums and meetings
- Support grant applications and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 2+ years policy analysis or government experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong research methodologies and statistical analysis skills
- Excellent written communication with ability to simplify complex topics
- New Mexico driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of local government structures and regulations
