Responsibilities
- Coordinate community engagement events for transportation projects in Houston metropolitan area
- Respond to public inquiries regarding road construction and traffic management
- Prepare and distribute informational materials in English and Spanish
- Assist with data collection for transportation impact assessments
- Maintain accurate records of public feedback and service requests
- Support digital and in-person outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project communications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or public-facing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for events
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for event materials
