Responsibilities
- Manage constituent inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with exceptional service standards
- Process and verify public assistance applications ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Maintain detailed case records in secure government databases with meticulous attention to detail
- Coordinate with multiple county departments to resolve complex service delivery issues
- Develop informational materials and presentations for community outreach programs
- Support special event logistics including scheduling, venue setup, and attendee management
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Social Services, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years customer service or administrative support experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a government environment
- Valid Washington State driver's license (for occasional off-site duties)
- Experience with constituent relationship management (CRM) systems preferred
