Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize public records in compliance with state retention policies
- Process public record requests efficiently and accurately
- Digitize and archive documents using municipal systems
- Assist with document retrieval for internal departments
- Conduct quality assurance checks on scanned documents
- Respond to public inquiries regarding records procedures
- Collaborate with records management team on process improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1+ years experience in records management or document handling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of public records laws preferred
- Valid Missouri driver's license may be required
