Responsibilities
- Organize, scan, and digitize public records according to retention policies
- Respond to public records requests with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain secure physical and digital document archives
- Collaborate with department heads to streamline records workflows
- Ensure compliance with Indiana public records laws (IC 5-14-3)
- Assist with document destruction protocols when authorized
- Provide courteous support to citizens and staff during record retrieval
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in records management or administrative support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document scanning systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
