Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain and organize confidential public health records in compliance with state/federal regulations
- Process and digitize document requests from healthcare providers, researchers, and the public
- Utilize state-of-the-art document management systems for efficient record retrieval
- Assist with quality control audits to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance
- Provide courteous support to internal and external stakeholders regarding record access procedures
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in records management, data entry, or administrative support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA and FOIA regulations preferred
