Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate filing systems for government documents and public records.
- Process and verify incoming data, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Assist citizens with inquiries regarding records, applications, and departmental procedures.
- Digitize physical records and update electronic databases using City software.
- Prepare reports and correspondence as directed by supervisors.
- Organize and prepare materials for public meetings and city council sessions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, records management, or customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
