Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging recreational activities for diverse age groups including youth, adults, and seniors
- Ensure safe operation of facilities and equipment during programs and events
- Assist with event coordination, registration, and community outreach initiatives
- Maintain accurate records for program attendance and participant feedback
- Collaborate with staff to implement seasonal programming and special events
- Provide excellent customer service and address participant inquiries promptly
- Support facility maintenance and cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in recreation, education, or social sciences preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience in customer service, event coordination, or recreation programs
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by program schedules
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse community members
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (if transporting participants)
- Pass required background check and child abuse clearance
