Responsibilities
- Design and implement recreational programs for diverse age groups
- Supervise facility operations and ensure safety compliance
- Manage equipment inventory and maintenance schedules
- Facilitate community outreach and event coordination
- Prepare activity reports and program evaluations
- Collaborate with volunteers and seasonal staff
- Enforce park policies and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in recreation or customer service
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Valid Kansas driver's license
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work evenings/weekends and flexible hours
- Proficiency in recreation management software
- Background check and drug screening required
