Responsibilities
- Manage Remote Projects: Coordinate and oversee part-time project initiatives from a home office setting, ensuring timely delivery of state-mandated objectives.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex government data to assist in policy formulation and program evaluation for the Chicago region.
- Virtual Collaboration: Facilitate virtual team meetings and maintain clear communication channels with state stakeholders and department heads.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all remote work activities and documentation adhere to Illinois state regulations and agency protocols.
- Administrative Support: Prepare, review, and edit official correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes with a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or program coordination within a government or corporate setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams).
- Remote Work Experience: Demonstrated ability to work independently, self-motivate, and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
