Responsibilities
- Data Management: Assist in the collection, cleaning, and analysis of transportation data to support decision-making processes.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate statistical reports, charts, and graphs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all documentation adheres to state and federal regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide administrative support to project managers and assist in coordinating inter-departmental meetings.
- Research: Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to recommend process improvements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date electronic and physical records of project milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a government or data-heavy environment is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with database management software (e.g., Access, SQL).
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for U.S. citizenship.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Reliability: Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
