Job Overview:
As a Part-Time Analyst, you will provide critical support to our administrative teams, ensuring the smooth operation of government functions. You will be involved in data analysis, policy research, and community outreach initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on public policy issues, legislative bills, and government regulations to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation, editing, and distribution of official reports, memos, and correspondence for department leadership.
- Manage and organize digital and physical records, ensuring compliance with state archival standards and confidentiality protocols.
- Coordinate logistics for public meetings, hearings, and community outreach events, including scheduling and venue preparation.
- Respond to inquiries from constituents, stakeholders, and internal departments with professionalism and accuracy.
- Utilize data management systems to track metrics and generate performance reports for management review.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all administrative tasks and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a standard background check.
- Current knowledge of Florida state government processes and regulations is a plus.
