Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and imaging equipment to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct thorough physical searches of individuals and property
- Monitor security checkpoints to detect prohibited items and threats
- Enforce TSA security protocols with professionalism and courtesy
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel
- Provide exceptional customer service during screening procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TSA security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
- Proficient in English communication (written/spoken)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver baggage
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn TSA systems
