Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch emergency calls with precision
- Operate multi-channel communication systems and CAD software
- Maintain detailed incident logs and documentation
- Coordinate with police, fire, and EMS during critical incidents
- Provide clear, calm guidance to callers in emergency situations
- Participate in continuous training on protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members during high-pressure scenarios
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Proficient in computer systems and typing (40+ WPM)
- Pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
