Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls using CAD/RMS systems
- Dispatch appropriate personnel to incidents (police, fire, EMS)
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during emergencies
- Operate radio equipment and maintain radio communications
- Collaborate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (verified by test)
- Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly
- Strong verbal communication skills in English
- Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office
- Valid California driver's license
- Must be 18+ years old
