Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines and metal detectors to screen passengers and carry-on baggage
- Conduct thorough physical pat-down searches and wand screenings as required
- Monitor checkpoints and identify suspicious items or behavior
- Enforce TSA security regulations and communicate procedures to travelers
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security breaches or emergencies
- Assist in baggage screening and cargo security operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid government-issued photo identification
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- No felony convictions or recent employment gaps exceeding 5 years
