Responsibilities
- Operate advanced X-ray and imaging technology to screen carry-on and checked baggage for prohibited items
- Conduct thorough physical pat-downs and wand screenings of passengers as required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes against passenger identities
- Maintain strict compliance with TSA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing security regulations
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities using TSA reporting systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security alerts
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and drug screening
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
