Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along designated routes on foot and/or vehicle
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate postal vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries
- Manage mail security and proper handling of confidential items
- Assist with retail counter duties and mail processing as needed
- Adhere to USPS policies and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Basic computer literacy for mail processing systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
