Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail/packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to USPS regulations
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from designated collection boxes
- Process and maintain accurate delivery records using handheld scanners
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents and businesses
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Maintain clean and organized work areas at post offices and delivery points
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with valid U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry mail trays weighing 35+ pounds
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and walk extended distances
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise delivery instructions
- Reliable transportation to and from the post office
