Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail to residential and business customers along a designated route.
- Handle packages of varying sizes and weights efficiently and safely.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Maintain the safety of the mail and the public while driving and walking.
- Adhere to all USPS operational policies, safety regulations, and time standards.
- Utilize handheld scanners and automated systems for package tracking.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for U.S. citizenship.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a safe driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
