Responsibilities
- Process and audit pension benefit requests, including retirement applications and survivor benefits.
- Verify eligibility for pension plans using federal and state compliance guidelines.
- Communicate with retirees and beneficiaries regarding status updates and required documentation via secure channels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records of all pension transactions and member data.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in retirement calculations and payroll data.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handover of pending cases.
- Adhere strictly to data privacy regulations and internal security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pension administration, retirement planning, or government benefits processing.
- Experience with government software systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP) is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with high levels of accountability.
- Must be available for the full night shift schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access).
