Responsibilities
- Analyze and process federal pension claims with 100% accuracy while adhering to ERISA and IRS regulations
- Conduct comprehensive benefit calculations for multi-employer and public sector retirement plans
- Develop and maintain pension plan documentation and participant communications
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams on compliance audits and legislative updates
- Train stakeholders on pension plan provisions and retirement planning strategies
- Implement system upgrades to streamline pension administration workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- SPBC or QPA certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and federal pension laws
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, Benefitfocus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to complex financial data
