Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans including benefit calculations, distributions, and vesting determinations
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (ERISA, IRS, TRS policies)
- Process retirement applications and provide member education/counseling
- Conduct audits and reconciliation of pension fund accounts
- Collaborate with investment and actuarial teams on plan sustainability
- Develop member communications and educational materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 3+ years pension administration or benefits experience
- Certified Pension Administrator (CPA) or CEBS designation preferred
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Millennium, UltiPro)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with government pension regulations preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
