Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund disbursements, calculations, and record-keeping with 100% accuracy
- Ensure strict compliance with federal/state pension laws and fiduciary standards
- Provide expert guidance to retirees on benefits, options, and lifecycle transitions
- Develop and implement pension plan policies aligned with legislative requirements
- Analyze demographic and financial data to forecast pension liabilities
- Coordinate with auditors for annual compliance reviews and reporting
- Train government HR partners on pension administration procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or benefits management experience
- Certified Pension Administrator (CPA) or similar designation preferred
- Expertise in ERISA, IRS 401(k), and state pension regulations
- Advanced proficiency in pension software systems (e.g., Oracle HCM)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to complex financial details
