Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan enrollment, distributions, and compliance for 200,000+ beneficiaries
- Analyze retirement plan data using SQL and proprietary systems to ensure accuracy
- Advise government employees on retirement options, tax implications, and benefit calculations
- Collaborate with auditors to maintain ERISA and IRS regulatory compliance
- Develop educational materials and conduct virtual workshops for plan participants
- Optimize pension fund investments using actuarial modeling software
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance digital pension services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or retirement benefits experience
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and pension management software (e.g., Millennium)
- Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS 401(k)/403(b) regulations, and state pension laws
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to financial data accuracy
