Responsibilities
- Administer defined benefit pension plans for public employees per ERISA and Colorado statutes
- Analyze complex financial data to ensure actuarial compliance and fund sustainability
- Process retiree applications, calculate benefits, and maintain participant records
- Develop retirement education materials for employers and members
- Collaborate with investment teams to align funding strategies with plan objectives
- Conduct audits and compliance reviews for regulatory adherence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Expertise in ERISA, IRS 415/416 regulations, and Colorado pension statutes
