Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pension fund operations including contributions, distributions, and record maintenance
- Analyze financial data to ensure regulatory compliance and fund solvency
- Develop and implement retirement plan policies aligned with ERISA and Ohio Revised Code
- Respond to member inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, and retirement options
- Collaborate with investment advisors to monitor fund performance and risk mitigation
- Prepare comprehensive reports for board meetings and regulatory submissions
- Lead annual plan audits and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in pension plan administration or benefits management
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(a), and Ohio pension regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and pension administration software
- Certified Pension Administrator (CPA) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Exceptional communication abilities for stakeholder engagement
