Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan enrollment, eligibility verification, and member record maintenance
- Process retirement applications and calculate benefit payments with precision
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and Tennessee state statutes
- Prepare monthly contribution reports and reconcile fund accounts
- Assist with annual actuarial valuations and benefit statement distributions
- Respond to participant inquiries regarding retirement benefits and plan provisions
- Collaborate with investment teams on funding strategies and risk assessment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in pension administration, benefits, or financial services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder interactions
- Knowledge of retirement plan regulations (ERISA, IRS 401(k) rules)
