Responsibilities
- Manage pension enrollment, disbursements, and record maintenance for 50,000+ beneficiaries
- Ensure strict adherence to ERISA, IRS, and Arizona state pension regulations
- Process retiree applications, benefit calculations, and QDRO distributions
- Develop and implement compliance audits for pension fund operations
- Collaborate with HR departments on employee retirement planning workshops
- Generate quarterly reports for state oversight committees and auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years pension administration experience with government entities
- Certified Pension Administrator (CPA) or CEBS designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, IRC 401(a), and Arizona Revised Statutes
- Advanced proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Millennium, CyberCFO)
- Strong analytical skills for complex benefit calculations
