Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund disbursements and participant account maintenance during night shift operations
- Process retirement applications and benefit adjustments with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct nightly reconciliation of pension transactions against federal reporting requirements
- Respond to urgent participant inquiries during overnight hours via secure communication channels
- Maintain audit trails for all pension transactions as per SOX compliance standards
- Collaborate with day-shift administrators for seamless benefit continuity
- Monitor pension fund performance metrics and flag anomalies during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Proficiency with pension management software (e.g., Millennium, BenefitFocus)
- Knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and Oregon PERS statutes
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 certification preferred
- Valid Oregon driver's license for occasional document retrieval
- Experience with 24/7 financial operations environments
