Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund disbursements and weekly payroll processing
- Administer retirement accounts, benefits enrollment, and eligibility verification
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and state pension statutes
- Process retiree inquiries, benefit calculations, and documentation requests
- Conduct periodic audits of pension accounts and financial records
- Collaborate with finance teams on fund performance reporting
- Develop educational materials for retirement planning workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Millennium, PeopleAdmin)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k)/403(b) regulations, and state pension laws
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
