Responsibilities
- Process pension applications, retiree enrollments, and benefit adjustments under supervisor guidance
- Maintain accurate pension records using specialized government software and databases
- Respond to member inquiries regarding retirement plans, eligibility, and documentation
- Assist in auditing pension documents for regulatory compliance (ERISA, CalPERS standards)
- Collaborate with finance teams on actuarial calculations and annual reporting
- Prepare correspondence and educational materials for plan participants
- Support special projects like system upgrades or policy implementation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required)
