Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan records, contributions, and disbursements with precision
- Process retirement applications and calculate benefits according to state policies
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ERISA and Ohio retirement laws
- Respond to participant inquiries via phone, email, and in-person during weekend hours
- Generate quarterly financial reports and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with investment teams to align fund strategies with retirement obligations
- Implement process improvements to enhance weekend service efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or retirement fund experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and Ohio pension statutes
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial software (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle)
- Exceptional communication abilities for participant interactions
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
