Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan enrollment, disbursements, and compliance documentation
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations with 99% accuracy
- Conduct quarterly audits of pension fund portfolios and reporting
- Respond to employee inquiries via secure portal and weekend support channels
- Collaborate with legal team on regulatory updates and policy changes
- Generate monthly financial reports for state oversight committees
- Maintain confidential records in accordance with HIPAA and FERPA standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Government or public sector financial operations background
- Certified Pension Administrator (CPA) or equivalent designation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and pension management software
