Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan enrollment, disbursements, and member inquiries during weekend shifts
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and Illinois pension regulations
- Analyze financial data and prepare quarterly portfolio performance reports
- Coordinate with investment teams and actuarial consultants for plan optimization
- Develop and maintain member communication materials for weekend service hours
- Conduct weekend eligibility reviews for retirement applications and disability claims
- Implement process improvements for weekend service workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or benefits management experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(a) regulations, and Illinois pension laws
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, pension software (e.g., Oracle HCM), and CRM systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial data accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for weekend member interactions
- Ability to work independently during remote weekend shifts
- Professional designation (e.g., CEBS, QPA) preferred
