Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ERISA compliance examinations of multi-employer and single-employer pension plans
- Analyze complex plan documents, financial statements, and operational procedures for regulatory violations
- Provide technical guidance to plan sponsors, fiduciaries, and participants on pension regulations
- Investigate potential fiduciary breaches and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed examination reports and enforcement recommendations
- Collaborate with legal teams on regulatory updates and policy development
- Maintain current knowledge of pension legislation and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years pension plan administration or regulatory compliance experience
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, IRC 401(k), and multi-employer pension regulations
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation required
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for complex technical guidance
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority examinations concurrently
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
