Responsibilities
- Manage and administer federal pension plans including FERS and CSRS systems
- Process retirement applications with 99.8% accuracy while maintaining strict compliance
- Conduct benefit calculations for complex multi-service scenarios
- Develop retirement education programs for federal employees nationwide
- Collaborate with OPM headquarters on policy implementation
- Lead audits and quality assurance initiatives for pension portfolios
- Maintain secure databases with sensitive financial and personal data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 5+ years pension administration experience with federal systems
- Federal HR certification (SHRM-SCP or PHR preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in OPM systems and SAP HR modules
- Expertise in ERISA and federal pension regulations
- Strong analytical skills with financial modeling experience
- Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
